IT STARTED WITH A DIFFERENT IDEA

This vision began with Bethany, a nurse who has been passionate about senior her whole career. She saw firsthand how often the experience of aging became disconnected, rushed, and impersonal.

She believed it could be different and wanted to create something transformational for seniors.  Through a thoughtful layering of environment, relationships, and community, each piece intentionally designed to support not just the individual, but the life surrounding them.

Because caring for seniors was never meant to happen in isolation. It should feel connected, to people, to place, and to something larger than the day-to-day.

Magnolia was created from that belief.

Bethany Azara is a Registered Nurse and the founder of Aroga Home Care Services, as well as a managing partner of Magnolia Estates and Community. Her work has been shaped by years of experience alongside seniors, families, and care teams—giving her a clear understanding of what truly works, and what too often falls short.

Through that experience, she developed a distinct perspective: that the quality of care is not defined by structure alone, but by the environment, the relationships, and the consistency surrounding it.

Her approach is rooted in creating spaces where people feel known, supported, and genuinely at ease—where care is not just delivered, but experienced in a way that feels natural and connected to everyday life.

Magnolia Estates has been a long-held vision.

One built over time, shaped by real experiences with families navigating care decisions, and a deep awareness of what was missing. It was never meant to replicate what already exists—but to thoughtfully reimagine it.

Duane and Andrea Scott are visionaries and creators who have spent years thoughtfully shaping environments where nature and comfort exist in harmony.

Their work is rooted in a deep appreciation for the land and a belief that the spaces we live in should feel both grounding and restorative, inviting people to slow down, connect, and experience life more fully.

Between their time living on the property at Magnolia Estates, they have been instrumental in cultivated a setting that reflects this philosophy. What began as a vision has grown into a place where others can gather, reconnect with nature, and experience the outdoors and designed spaces in a way that feels both elevated and welcoming.

Their approach to creating space is not about design alone, it is about experience. How a place feels. How people connect within it. And how the environment supports a more natural rhythm of living.

They have and continue to bring this vision to Magnolia Estates and Community.

As partners in Magnolia, Duane and Andrea play an integral role in shaping the land, the surroundings, and the overall experience of the property.
